How to use web application Galenio
Process of use
01
The very first step is to generate a QR code, through which the patient connects to the room. When you click on the “Generate QR Code” button, a qr code is generated and you show it to the patient who scans it.
If the patient cannot scan the qr code, there is an option to log in via a combined numeric and written code that can be read below the qr code itself. This code is entered into the home page of the app, and the patient also logs into the room via this code.

02
After the patient connects using the code, the app automatically redirects you to the medical interface where you can communicate with the patient.
In the meantime, the patient fills in their personal details on their phone. After the patient fills in the data, the basic information about the patient pops up in the left corner of your interface. See picture.

03
The app itself prompts the patient to describe the problem they have come up with. After the patient’s details are loaded, to speed things up, you can directly chat to the patient with a prompt message like “Hello I’m from the hospital, what happened to you?” Write the message in Czech, after sending it will be automatically translated into the patient’s language and will reach him in his native language.
Then in this chat, further communicate with the patient what you need. You can still communicate in your native language, the messages are automatically translated. There is also the possibility to voice record all messages, both from your side and from the patient’s side, for greater communication convenience.

04
Pro urychlení procesu můžete pacientovi poslat předvolený formulář, díky kterému pacient odpoví na na dotazy, které Vás zajímají, stačí pouze kliknout na tlačítko “Poslat” a pacientovi se formulář odešle a automaticky přeloží do jeho jazyku.

04
To speed up the process, you can send the patient a pre-selected form to answer the questions you are interested in, just click on the “Send” button and the form will be sent to the patient and automatically translated into their language.
05
If you want to create your own set of questions in the form, just create your own form on the bottom left. After you write the questions, just click on the “Save Form” button and the form will be saved among the other forms, then just click on “Submit” and your created form will be sent to the patient.

06
Similar to the way forms work, the application has a log function. These are used to send longer formatted texts (such as exam information) to the patient with a single click. Again, everything is automatically translated, so it’s possible to get more extensive, often-repeated information to the patient right away.
07
The protocols can be edited after creation, just like the forms, and in the future, with the launch of the patient platform, we plan to use them also for informed consent, which the patient agrees in his or her own language directly in the application.

08
To remove a patient from the room, click on the cross next to their profile. Attention! After you remove the patient from the room, all data about the patient is lost and your room is closed. Therefore, before closing the room, click on the “Generate to PDF” button in the upper right corner. This will download the data from your interface to the computer. You will see a record of the conversation and the patient’s personal data.
09
Galenio also includes a glossary of the most commonly used phrases in the health care field, divided according to their respective areas. You can click on a category and a menu of specific phrases will appear.

10
The necessary phrase is then shown to the patient from the device or can be played back by voice. We are gradually adding translator-verified phrases in several languages, for those that do not have it, so far there is an icon that it is a strictly translated phrase (the quality of translation should be very good, the same model is used as for all communication directly specified for the health sector)
11
Part of the manager accounts is then the admin panel, which displays the hospital data that can be edited. At the same time, new accounts for medical staff are created here and there is all the management and overview of the already created active accounts.

12
There is also a billing for the hospital within the admin panel for management accounts. There is a breakdown of patients by month when the account is active and a breakdown of the total cost of the monthly license.
